Andy Schichter is a producer, recording & mixing engineer living in Vancouver, BC.

After apprenticing on several projects under Grammy-nominated producer Tucker Martine, including The Decemberists’ The King is Dead (#1 US Billboard 200), Beth Orton’s Sugaring Season (#26 UK Albums Chart) and Black Prairie’s A Tear In The Eye Is A Wound In The Heart (#4 US Billboard Top Bluegrass Album), Andy fell in love with the West Coast and moved to Vancouver from Ontario.

Andy comes to Park Sound after freelancing out of various studios around town such as Blue Light Studio, Rain City Recorders, Monarch Studios and The Hive.

From what bands have told him, he has a calming presence in the studio, is a creative filter for ideas, and a whiz in Pro Tools.

In addition to recording music, he loves the marketing aspect of the music industry and is considered a one-stop shop by many of the artists he records.

Dan Ponich

Dan is a music producer, audio engineer, mixer & songwriter located in Vancouver, BC. He has been completely enthralled by music since the age of 12 and fell in love with producing it for other people.

He plays the guitar as well as the piano. Dan graduated from Harbourside IT’s Audio Engineering and Music Production program in March 2016. He is certified in Pro Tools 101, 110 and 130, & also holds his Advanced Rudiments Theory in First Class Honours from The Royal Conservatory of Music.

Dan has a very positive, go-getter attitude which is portrayed in his work. He believes the studio is a tool and should be utilized as just that; with integrity and focus. That being said, it’s fun to have fun, and those fun times generally lead to great creative ideas and attitudes. Time spent in the studio can be gruelling but he does his very best to make sure it is enjoyable as well as productive.
